We could not walk our dog in public, he barked at everything that he came in contact with and overall scared people coming to our house. With him being an adult dog we wondered if it was too late for this type of training.......but we are so glad we did. He is now a very well behaved dog who doesnt bark, can be walked on a leash without darting off or being distracted by other people, dogs or noise. My dog was having behavioral issues that I initially thought was aggression but was later revealed to be anxiety. He had issues lashing out and lunging at people, but this spot was the reason I was able to get him trained for the better. I did this when he was 1 year old because I felt like he was reaching a critical point and needed some intervention before it got worse. Big bonus for the future unlimited sessions they provide after completing your training because your dog is going to develop and sometimes regress depending on how consistent you are. I also use the boarding because this is the only spot I feel like they will properly handle him. My dog is 75lbs and he's a sweetheart, and I know how to manage him but he will walk over someone who doesn't know how to handle him. I've seen it at other boarding locations. My Belgian Malinois Petey came home to me yesterday and I’m floored. I just came home from running errands this morning. FOUR different people commented on how well behaved he was. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but Mike definitely proves that saying wrong! We took our 6 year old German shepherd that had never been trained on a leash or socialized with other dogs and the result was a completely different dog. My shepherd would over power me if I tried to walk him by pulling and twisting to the point that we were afraid of even attempting to walk him. After mikes 6 week boarding and training program our shepherd now walks by our side on his leash, obeys the sit command, down stay, and place. I can tell him to sit and drop the leash and proceed to walk away from him and he won’t follow. Even in our front yard he stays without being distracted by other dogs or passing cars. I was in search of a training program for my dog, Sira, and Stealth K9 Dog Training popped up. My initial call with Michael went great and he understood what my dog needed. Michael was awesome at sending videos to provide updates or respond to any questions I had throughout the program. When I finally went to pick Sira up, I immediately noticed how far along she has come compared to when I dropped her off. Her obedience and behavior has exceeded my expectations and I could not have been more impressed. I am happy to take my dog out to places now and I know she is happy too! All of the trainers are awesome and friendly. They are honest in a way where they really want the best for you and your dog’s relationship. I am also glad that I have the opportunity to continue training sessions after she completed her program. Sira is always excited to see the trainers again when we meet up for sessions! I wish I would have done this sooner for Sira, because I know she more happy and confident now!
